According to Sterling Police, the girl was walking on Chase Hill Road near Rota Spring Farms when a pickup truck passed by at high speed and hit her face with a passenger side mirror at around 10:35 in the evening. side.

According to the police, the truck is believed to be a newer dark Ford F150 model with oversized towing mirrors and cab sign lights. It did not stop, but continued to drive on Chase Hill Road towards Highway 110.

The police added that the pickup truck lost its mirror in the accident.

The teenager's face was seriously injured, but his life was not in danger.
